Henry was found in a thrift store along with his sister, Lizzie. They are both clothespin dolls made like Penny on http://adventureswithpenny.net/?page_id=8. Thank you, Susan, of Hittygirls yahoo group for leading us to that website. We were thrilled to learn just what kind of dolls Henry and Lizzie were and how they were made. And we were equally thrilled to read about Penny's many adventures.
Henry is ashamed to admit that everyone in the pioneer Hitty house thought he was a girl at first. Some of his curls have grown a bit long and his clothes are made in a way that they could be girls or boys. Henry has hopes that the Hitty girls here in the pioneer Hitty house will make him some new clothes. He may have a hard time coming out of the clothes he's wearing as they are sewn on but he insists he can do it. He appears to be a very determined young man. He has also asked if it might be possible that he could get a new pair of socks, as his are pink.
Henry has been assured that anything is possible but things happen slowly here at the pioneer Hitty house so he must be patient.
