Introducing Elizabeth

Elizabeth is the newest doll in the pioneer Hitty house. She isn't a Hitty doll but now lives here as a Hitty friend. Elizabeth, or Lizzie as she likes to be called, is a clothespin doll.

One of the big people in the pioneer Hitty house found Lizzie and her brother, Henry, at a thrift store. She happily paid the 1.00 per doll that the store was asking and brought them home to live in the pioneer Hitty house. But she had no idea what kind of dolls Lizzie and her brother were. Susan on the Hittygirls yahoo group asked if the dolls might be made like Penny at http://adventureswithpenny.net/?page_id=8.

We were all happy to see that that is exactly what kind of doll Lizzie and Henry are. We then enjoyed exploring their blog and reading about all of their adventures. Our favorite was when Penny played in the snow. All the dolls at the pioneer Hitty house wanted to join Penny in all that fluffy white snow.

Lizzie is the smallest doll at the pioneer Hitty house. All the bigger dolls have taken her under their wing and have enjoyed having her here. It's highly suspected that Lizzie might become spoiled.

Lizzie came to the pioneer Hitty house with her clothes sewn on but the girls are already talking about making Lizzie a new wardrobe and helping her out of her permanently attached clothing. But for now they are all just glad to have her and Henry with them.

There has been much discussion among the Hitty's about just how and why Lizzie and Henry came to be at the thrift store. No one knows, and Henry and Lizzie aren't saying, but they all agree that the pioneer house is open to any Hitty or Hitty friend that finds themselves in need of a home.
